Ayate Washcloths

Our ayate (ixtle) washcloths are sustainable washcloths made of agave fibers and hand-woven by the native Otomi people of Mexico. Weaving agave fibers has been a longstanding tradition and the agave fiber makes an excellent scrubber and exfoliator for your skin for a refreshing shower or bath. These also make great scrubbing cloths for cleaning as well! They dry fast and are resistant to mold and mildew.
